Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage

Swedish massage uses a combination of gentle, medium, and deep pressure techniques to release tight muscles and deep-seated aches and pain. Deep Tissue massage is for those who prefer a deeper technique throughout the entire treatment. All techniques are designed to realign poor posture and restore proper range of motion while reducing pain and stress.

BLDM has become a popular wellness treatment because of its impact on supporting our bodies’ immune function and health, as well as the secondary effects on our skins appearance. The techniques are vigorous, yet relaxing. They are specific in direction, speed and sequence. We work to reduce excess fluid in the body, bloating and inflammation.

This treatment is suitable to support the recovery period from medical, cosmetic, and gender affirming surgeries. Techniques used in this treatment include: manual lymphatic drainage, Brazilian lymphatic drainage and scar tissue mobilization.

The Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is one of the most continuously used joints in the body. This overuse can create tension in the head, neck and jaw area, and when left untreated in can lead to TMJ dysfunction. This treatment is designed to decrease tension and pain in these areas, and gradually improve the movements and overall health of the face and jaw.

The techniques used in this treatment are myofascial massage, joint mobilizations, Swedish and deep tissue work, and optional intra-oral techniques. Some of the issues this treatment can help with are: pain in the jaw, headaches/ migraines, jaw deviation or locking, painful clicking or popping, inability to fully open/ close the mouth.

Stretch Therapy™ (previously known as Fascial Stretch Therapy) is one of the leading methods used to improve joint mobility and flexibility throughout the entire body. It is performed on a massage table with stabilization straps to anchor and properly position the client during specific angles of stretch. Once problematic areas are addressed and released, the client can expect to feel lighter movement, improved muscle recruitment, and reduced or eliminated pain and tightness. *Please come prepared with loose comfortable clothing*

Thai Massage

Combination of acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. Client is fully clothed laying on a floor mat while therapist uses their body to pull, push, stretch and rock the client into various positions. *Please come prepared with loose comfortable clothing*

Cupping Therapy

Silicone or glass cups are placed on the body and manipulated gently in multiple directions. This improves mobility, and circulation, and provides deep relaxation. The ‘circular marks’ left after the treatment are temporary, lasting anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks.
Prenatal Massage

Relieve stress, improve sleep, and reduce pain/tension in muscles and joints. Massage is performed in the side-lying position with a special pregnancy pillow.
Private Yoga

One-on-one yoga session whereby the therapist uses a wide range of mind/body practices, from postural and breathing exercises to deep relaxation and meditation. Classes are tailored to the health needs of the individual and can improve medical conditions. This is particularly appropriate for many chronic conditions that persist despite conventional medical treatment.

Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A last-minute cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. You are welcome to send another person to take your place if you cannot come in. If you do not provide more than 24 hours’ notice, or you miss your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the treatment fee. Our therapists deserve secured income, and we thank you in advance for respecting their time.
